FILM & VIDEO

The following projects capture Jad's filmic spirit. They have been created with Jad mainly undertaking the role of Cinematographer. In certain projects he has undertaken additional roles, such as Director, Editor, & Sound Designer. These projects range in genre and include drama, poetic, abstract, and experimental.

The Disaster X is a music video, short film, and trailer project for an instrumental composition created by Jad himself, alongside his father. Jad acted as the writer, director, and producer alongside creating all promotional and visual material.

Hypnosis

HYPNOTISE is a sequence designed to ‘hypnotise’ through its colourfully dissociative style, cyclical structure and sensorily stimulating tone.

The lost touch

The Lost Touch is a poetic documentary which vicariously reflects upon the nature of solitude against the desire for connection.

Embracing non-linear storytelling, this sequence explores the tumultuous relationship between self and self-image.

LI(V)E

LI(V)E is an experimental music video project which aims to question whether freedom and self-sovereignty truly exist for individuals within developed societies.

This project was a recreation of a scene within a mainstream TV series with the objective of engaging in creative override, script development, and stylistic cinematography.
